Radiesse Fillers

Injectable dermal fillers are non-invasive and a low-risk form of aesthetic medicine that reduces wrinkles, adds volume, contours the face and more. With many different fillers available, a single filler can treat a wide variety of cosmetic issues. Deciding on the best option for you can seem overwhelming.

Radiesse is one of the most popular dermal fillers. It’s known for its immediate volumizing effect. It addresses many issues including deeper folds and wrinkles.

To determine whether a filler is right for you, you should book a consultation with a qualified practitioner who can discuss your goals and expectations. If you are considering Radiesse fillers, below are five facts to help you start exploring your options.

How Do Radiesse Fillers Work?

Thicker than dermal fillers, Radiesse is made of Calcium Hydroxylapatite microspheres. It provides immediate volume to the face when injected. The microspheres continue to work by stimulating collagen production that helps to tighten the skin. The microspheres are eventually absorbed by your body, leaving natural collagen in place.

What Does Radiesse Treat?

Radiesse does not treat one single issue like most dermal fillers. It’s known for its volumizing effect. If you have severe fine lines, wrinkles or folds, your aesthetician may recommend Radiesse over other fillers to correct issues.

It can also help to contour the face and is used as a non-invasive alternative to plastic surgery. It can be used in procedures such as non-surgical rhinoplasty and is sometimes used to correct a weak chin or hollow temples.

Radiesse also addresses the loss of skin elasticity resulting from aging and weight loss. It also corrects issues like sagging jowls or loose skin in the neck area.

What Happens During Radiesse Treatment?

Radiesse treatment is a simple procedure. It normally only takes between 15-20 minutes. Your aesthetician may apply a topical numbing cream to the treatment area before injections are administered. Some patients may feel slight discomfort, but Radiesse injections are typically pain-free.

Unlike other treatments, some results will be visible immediately after treatment. You’ll see increased volume immediately and will continue to see substantial improvement over time.

Is There Downtime After Treatment?

You’ll receive aftercare instructions from your aesthetician. You should follow the instructions to avoid complications. In most cases, minimal downtime is required after receiving Radiesse injections. You may be asked to avoid alcohol and stay out of the sun for 24-48 hours, but you can resume most activities right away.

There will be some bruising and swelling which will subside within a week. In rare cases, serious complications like infections can occur. If you experience intense pain or discharge, contact your aesthetician. Most complications can be corrected with prompt treatment.

Is Radiesse Filler Permanent?

Radiesse and other dermal fillers are not permanent. How long Radiesse lasts depends on where you got your injections. Cheek and chin injections can last 15 months while injections around the nose or in the lips last between 9-12 months.

No two patients are the same. Depending on how your body responds to fillers, they can last shorter or longer. Following aftercare instructions closely may help fillers last longer.

Some clients receive follow-up treatments six to seven months after initial injections to help maintain results.

Radiesse Fillers: The Bottom Line

  • Radiesse fillers restore lost volume to the face and smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. Treatment is quick and usually pain-free. There is a small chance of adverse side effects. While Radiesse injections are not permanent, results can last a year or more. Follow-up treatment is always an option.
  • Radiesse is one of many fillers on the market. A consultation with a professional aesthetician can help you determine whether it is the best avenue to meet your aesthetic goals.

Revanesse Versa+ and Revanesse Lips+

Enduring less swelling with dermal filler injections is a treat. Revanesse Versa+ lasts longer so you won’t need as many appointments over time. One clinical trial showed 70% of Versa patients still saw an improvement to their nasolabial folds one year after treatment. Revanesse Lips+ last about six months.

What Is Versa?

Similar to other FDA-approved hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for smoothing wrinkles, contouring the face and plumping skin, Versa causes less swelling (24% to 50% less) and lasts longer because of its higher molecular weight. Three clinical trials with over 300 subjects of varying skin types were performed and no serious adverse reactions were reported.

The “plus” in Versa+ and Revanesse Lips+ indicates lidocaine is added to the formulation to ease the discomfort with injections. Treatments are minimally invasive and show immediate results.

Versa fillers, molecularly, have a spherical particle structure that has a smooth quality for easy injection procedures and natural-looking results. Proprietary Thixofix cross-linking technology is the secret to providing master injectors structure for facial contouring.

Xeomin

What Is a Xeomin injection?

A treatment procedure performed in about 10 minutes provides a more youthful appearance by temporarily eliminating forehead lines, wrinkles, frown lines and crow’s feet wrinkles.

Xeomin is another form of botulinum toxin type A (incobotuinumtoxinA) that is similar to Botox but better. Unlike Botox, Xeomin is manufactured through a precise process that isolates the botulinum toxin molecule and removes extra surrounding proteins. Xeomin is a Botox alternative and the purest botulinum toxin.

Can I Use Xeomin Instead of Botox?

For clients who want an alternative to Botox, Xeomin is perfect. Sometimes clients develop an immunity to the large Botox molecule and find that Botox does not last as long. Xeomin can be a perfect alternative. The Xeomin dosing units used are the same. We can convert you from Botox to Xeomin in one step.

How Is Xeomin Different Than Botox?

Xeomin is manufactured through a process that isolates the botulinum toxin molecule and removes all extra surrounding proteins. Xeomin’s purified and clean molecule has the potential advantage of lessening the chance of developing resistant antibodies against the botulinum toxin, thus rendering the product ineffective. Because of Xeomin’s pure toxin, it can work faster and last longer.

Vicki is the best. She is so knowledgeable and I’ve had multiple different services from her and I’ve always been 100% satisfied. I also love her because she doesn’t try to oversell you on things you don’t need like other people do. If you ask her about something she will tell her opinion on whether or not you actually need it, which means a lot to me.
